Great Chris! Since I suggested this I must be quick to provide my intro:-)
I'm Karl-Petter Åkesson. I'm called Kalle by most people, Kalle is a common nickame for people here called Karl or a double name with Karl in, like mine.
I studied Electrical Engineering but mostly work today with interaction design. Currently employed by the Interactive Institute in the Game Studio where we study and develop location based games, using mostly mobile phones but also quite a lot of embedded hardware and sensors. I both develop the electronics we use but mostly spend time on programming, user involvement and project management. I have been using Arduions for a couple of years and before that used other embedded systems. Some of the programming languages and frameworks I know include Ruby on Rails, Java, C, Objective-C, Javascript, Lua.
I spend a lot of my spare time on photography but loves to combine it with other activities such as hiking, skiing and kiting. I have a small portfolio on my website. My blog is mostly used as a public notebook so it's amix of English and Swedish posts.
You can find my on Twitter as well.
I have helped a colleague to develop a iPhone based camera trigger, TimeFugit and we are now looking into extend it to control a motion control system and OpenMoCo seems great for this!
