Can this dolly be used with steppers in combination with the upcoming dedicated TLE Arduino board? I would love to hook this thing on to the TouchShield controller.

@Andre, yep! It's designed as an "extension engine", which means it'll be controlled by the TLE hardware. One of the reasons we chose to go with SPI control for the 4-axis board (oh, that's right, I haven't announced that yet *grin* I have the prototypes here in my hand.) is so we could hook up more stuff like the DollyShield. The dollyshield could either be a stand-alone unit, or provide an interface to two DC motors for the TLE hardware.
Just assembled my shield, many thanks for a great service, it's up and running 1st time.
Looking forward to using it when I have all the mechanical components gathered and put together.
