Problems with buttons MX2

Getting Started

I mounted the motherboard correctly Dollyshield v1.03, I have inserted the chip Duemilanove 328, I have programmed mx2uploader and he said that was correct. I light it and the display works properly but it does not work any button, or up, down, left, right and center.
I can not do anything
Any suggestions?
I have reviewed all the welds and I find that the buttons when pressed work, but do nothing in the MX2 software

Hi There!
All buttons failing to operate has one of three causes:

1) Incorrect resistors installed for the buttons

2) Modifying the firmware and putting incorrect button values
3) A bad/cold joint between the beginning of the button chain and the arduino pin

I doubt it's two, as you used the GUI uploader and therefore didn't modify the firmware. I'd look into 1 and 3.

When you say "they do work"? How so? Did you write a sketch that printed the analog read values from the button pin? How do these values compare to the ones in the stock dolyshield firmware? If they do read in a normal sketch, then I'd lead towards #1 - but all is not lost, you can modify the assignment values in the DollyShield.pde with what your resistors are reading for you. (However, one has to ask - where the button resistors were installed =)
